Responsibilities
- Own the full product lifecycle from design through deployment.
- Translate customer and product objectives into iterative technical requirements with users.
- Design and build performant backend services for a data-intensive application.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces for a complex decision-support system.
- Train time-series forecasting models for power consumption and renewable production.
- Develop linear optimization algorithms to reduce customer energy costs.
- Help choose and shape the core technology stack.
- Work directly with customers and founders to deliver complete product features.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience delivering scalable web applications.
- Ability to independently deliver complete product features while working directly with customers.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals across backend and frontend development.
- Experience building frontend UIs for complex decision-support or data-intensive products.
- Experience building backend services for data-heavy applications.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React, and Python.
- Hands-on experience or genuine interest in time-series forecasting and/or linear optimization.
- Comfort operating as a full-stack generalist with a product mindset.
- Previous CTO, founder, or early-stage technical leadership experience is a plus.
- Curiosity about energy markets and complex, data-driven business applications.
- FastAPI or Supabase experience is a plus.
Benefits
- Salary range of 85,000 to 140,000 EUR annually.
- Hybrid arrangement in Munich with approximately four days per week on-site and occasional remote flexibility.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
