Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack features using TypeScript and React.
- Design backend systems handling millions of API requests and terabytes of client data.
- Own features from concept through deployment and ongoing operation.
- Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct constructive code reviews.
- Synchronize and index large client datasets with fine-grained permission management.
- Operate and optimize systems processing millions of LLM calls per month.
- Architect environments that securely spawn thousands of code sandboxes daily.
- Build foundational infrastructure for custom integrations with new systems.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, including production full-stack work.
- Strong production experience with React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Backend engineering experience with Python, tRPC, or comparable technologies.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed high-throughput services.
- Experience building scalable, secure, and reliable backend services at data or API scale.
- End-to-end product ownership with a focus on user experience and long-term quality.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and conducting constructive code reviews.
- Experience with AI service integrations or a strong interest in AI-integrated platforms.
- Candidates must already be located in Munich, Germany.
