Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex iOS features for the flagship mobile application
- Own projects from requirements and architecture through implementation, release, and iteration
- Architect and implement real-time video capabilities using iOS media technologies and streaming protocols
- Develop responsive and maintainable SwiftUI experiences integrated with UIKit and legacy surfaces
- Define best practices for platform consistency, reliability, and observability across the iOS codebase
- Research and adopt new iOS technologies and approaches to solve complex problems and improve code quality
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through reviews, design discussions, architecture guidance, and pair programming
- Contribute to cross-functional architecture decisions affecting multiple teams and the long-term mobile platform direction
- Shape the product roadmap and make technical decisions balancing delivery speed with scalable solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of professional iOS development experience
- Deep proficiency in Swift, including performance considerations and modern concurrency patterns
- Extensive experience with Xcode, the iOS SDK, and modern architecture patterns including MVVM, coordinator-driven navigation, and modular design
- Experience delivering production-quality, scalable iOS applications
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, JSON models, and backend service integration
- Experience with Swift Concurrency, task coordination, modular app architecture, dependency management, and package-based code organization
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical design discussions
- Experience leveraging AI/ML technologies in mobile applications
- Preferred experience with AVFoundation, VideoToolbox, WebRTC, xcframework-based SDKs, SwiftUI, Objective-C interoperability, mobile security, CI/CD, analytics and crash-reporting tools, Apple platform services, backend service layers, and IoT ecosystems
