Senior Software Engineer - Android
TripAdvisorResponsibilities
- Write and maintain Android application code
- Develop features end to end from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Contribute to backend microservices when needed
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams on feature specifications and deliverables
- Support development experience, QA, and ongoing software maintenance
- Work with engineering groups distributed around the world
Requirements
- At least five years of commercial software development experience
- Experience developing Android applications
- Experience with reactive programming on native mobile platforms
- Familiarity with mobile web and backend technologies is beneficial
- Ability and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
- Ability to break complex problems into simple solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A strong sense of ownership and pride in work
