Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Salesforce reference architecture and technical design standards across data models, sharing and security, integrations, org strategy, environments, and releases.
- Define Salesforce security standards and lead the Salesforce Security Community of Practice with Information Security.
- Act as design authority by reviewing solution designs, setting governance entry criteria, and documenting architectural decisions.
- Design target architectures and migration or coexistence strategies for platform onboarding and multi-org consolidation.
- Lead root-cause analysis and remediation design for complex platform, performance, and integration challenges.
- Define Salesforce development and DevOps standards and drive adoption across teams and implementation partners.
- Review AI and Agentforce use cases from an architectural perspective.
- Serve as the technical counterpart to Salesforce and implementation partners and coach platform teams through reusable architectures and technical reviews.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Salesforce platform experience, including at least 5 years as an architect in enterprise, multi-cloud, and multi-org environments.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect certification; Sharing & Visibility, Data Architecture, Integration Architecture, and CTA experience are valued.
- Strong hands-on ability to review Apex, Flow, LWC, and Salesforce metadata directly.
- Experience with multi-org consolidation, migration, coexistence, enterprise integration architecture, API-led and event-driven patterns, MuleSoft, ERP integrations, and identity integrations.
- Deep Salesforce security knowledge covering sharing and permissions, authentication, Shield, and security posture management.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps, Git-based pipelines, Copado or Gearset, and multi-org environment strategies.
- Experience acting as a design authority, stabilizing existing Salesforce environments, and communicating recommendations to senior stakeholders and vendors.
- Fluent English and the ability to work autonomously, collaboratively, and effectively in an international organization.
- Insurance or financial-services experience, Marketing Cloud or Data Cloud experience, and Center of Excellence or governance experience are preferred.
