Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own GenAI creation-quality and product metrics and translate data-backed insights into concrete engineering goals.
- Drive product vision and cross-organizational technical strategy with PM, UX, DeepMind, and YouTube product teams.
- Lead the technical execution of high-priority projects.
- Architect and lead the production deployment of video generation and agentic video editing models and workflows.
- Provide technical guidance, navigate organizational complexity, and empower technical leads and senior individual contributors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience in software development.
- Two years of experience with applied machine learning and GenAI or agentic systems.
- Experience building, productionizing, and scaling machine learning systems, including video generation models, agentic systems, agent benchmarking, agent AutoRaters, or LLM/agent training pipelines.
- Preferred experience architecting and evaluating video editing agents and multimodal agent workflows.
- Ability to translate product strategy into technical roadmaps and engineering metrics.
- Experience collaborating with product, UX, research, and senior stakeholders and mentoring high-performing engineers.
- Strong business acumen related to unit economics, return on computation, model quality, and user engagement metrics.
