Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production backend APIs with Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop Angular and TypeScript frontend components, reactive forms, and configuration-driven UI rendering.
- Design persistence layers using Hibernate ORM, relational databases, SQL, schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Implement event-driven or pipeline-based processing, including validation chains, hooks, and deserialization pipelines.
- Build configuration-driven, multi-tenant SaaS functionality and extension/plugin architectures.
- Containerize applications with Docker and deploy them using Kubernetes.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation, code reviews, testing, and end-to-end feature ownership.
- Identify security and tenant data-isolation risks during system design.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building production APIs with Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of layered architecture, including controller, service, domain, and persistence layers.
- Experience with Hibernate ORM, entity and relationship mapping, relational databases, SQL, schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, reactive forms, component architecture, HTTP clients, and asynchronous state handling.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit 5, Mockito, and Spring Test.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and build, test, and deployment automation.
- Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS patterns, tenant data isolation, JWT-based tenant resolution, and path-scoped configuration.
- Familiarity with configuration-over-code design, YAML or JSON configuration, extension/plugin architectures, dynamic dispatch, and runtime behavior resolution.
- Ability to reason about API contracts, DTOs, domain objects, service boundaries, and versioning.
- Ability to own features end to end, recognize the value of configuration-driven design, test contracts beyond happy paths, and contribute effective code reviews.
