Responsibilities
- Develop holistic, long-term regression testing solutions for networking products.
- Execute test scripts, source and provision test data, analyze defects, and document test results according to the test strategy.
- Debug test failures, determine whether failures are caused by software defects, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Analyze test coverage and gaps with development and test teams, including use-case coverage gaps.
- Use test automation frameworks, tools, and scripting languages to support product testing.
Requirements
- BE, ME, or MCA in Computer Science or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in product testing and Layer 2/Layer 3 protocol testing.
- Expert knowledge of Python, Perl, and complex test automation.
- Strong understanding of the OSI model and TCP/IP protocols, including ARP, IP, ICMP, IGMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, and FTP.
- Knowledge of ISIS, OSPF, BGP, QoS, Multicast, MPLS, and VPLS routing technologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, infrastructure platforms, regression testing, debugging, and testing concepts.
- Experience with IXIA and Spirent test equipment; Robot Test Framework experience is preferred.
- JUNOS/EVO experience and Juniper or networking certifications are preferred.
- Knowledge of AI tools and their use in solving complex operational problems.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
