Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and maintain automated test suites for frontend and backend components.
- Write maintainable automated tests and implement end-to-end tests that simulate real user workflows.
- Own automated test pipeline execution and reporting within CI/CD workflows.
- Monitor test flakiness and stability, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes.
- Identify and implement test coverage tooling and contribute to testing strategy, tooling, and testability improvements.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and engineering leads across three squads to define test scenarios and embed quality into feature development.
- Document and track bugs with reproduction steps, environment details, and visual documentation.
- Contribute to testing documentation, frameworks, best practices, and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in QA automation or software engineering roles with a testing focus.
- Experience developing automated tests for web applications across frontend or backend systems.
- Familiarity with at least one E2E/browser automation framework such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Familiarity with at least one unit-testing framework such as xUnit, Jest, or NUnit.
- Ability to read and write code in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Python.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
- Ability to work within an agile engineering environment.
- Preferred experience includes backend testing, .NET unit-testing frameworks, API/integration testing, Cypress or Playwright, Git, Dockerized development/testing environments, and Google Cloud Platform.
