Base Salary
$131k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Android features for DoorDash’s large-scale product platform.
- Improve the codebase through continuous refactoring and architecture improvements.
- Solve real-time data transfer and synchronization problems.
- Extend and implement APIs.
- Implement unit tests and apply Android testing best practices.
- Stay current with industry standards in Android development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of industry experience.
- Expertise developing with the Android SDK in a product environment.
- Knowledge of systems and object-oriented programming.
- Expertise with Android testing best practices and frameworks.
- Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile applications.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment when evaluating options and making decisions.
