Base Salary
$133k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, release, and scale changes to mobile and backend architecture.
- Build backend infrastructure and messaging interfaces for Chime’s communication platform.
- Drive key architectural changes to the platform layer powering messaging for millions of members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex domain problems.
- Develop thoroughly tested code and conduct quality assurance on new code.
- Work independently and collaboratively to deliver goals and accelerate development velocity.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of full-stack development experience.
- Experience with backend development and frameworks; GraphQL and Ruby are bonuses.
- Experience with mobile development and frameworks; React Native is a bonus.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally and working effectively with teammates.
- Understanding of architectural patterns for large-scale production services and the ability to make safe changes without regressions.
- Self-motivation, attention to detail, willingness to learn and share knowledge, and empathy for product users.
