Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure and networking for digital services, including storage, firewalls, and network configuration.
- Build and maintain automation for repositories, builds, deployments, environments, virtual machines, containers, and serverless functions.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Work with clients and cross-functional teams to solve technical problems and contribute to internal projects.
- Own or contribute to architecture and development processes across one or more pods.
- Serve as a key client engagement point and support consulting, account management, bids, and formal proposals.
- Coach and mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative technical community.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in DevOps.
- Expertise in architecture and knowledge of development processes and robust engineering methods and patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, containers, observability, networking, and resilient cloud solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, stakeholder communication, consulting, and client-engagement skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor teams and contribute to bids, proposals, and client presentations.
- Applicants for applicable UK roles may need at least five years of continuous UK residency to obtain required security clearance; all PA employees undergo background checks and Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
