Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP BTP application architecture and development across pro-code and low-code/no-code environments.
- Design and implement SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, OData services, CAP models, CDS domain models, service handlers, event handlers, and SAP HANA Cloud persistence.
- Architect SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, API Management, hybrid connectivity, workflow automation, business rules, and process automation solutions.
- Define authentication, authorization, identity, connectivity, and multi-tenant security using XSUAA, OAuth2, JWT tokens, role collections, scopes, and principal propagation.
- Drive CI/CD automation and application deployment using MTA packaging, Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and related SAP BTP workflows.
- Lead AI-driven SAP business-process transformation, including Agentic AI patterns, SAP AI services, data and model integration, and production optimization.
- Guide cross-functional teams, mentor developers, manage stakeholders, and align SAP transformation solutions with enterprise and customer goals.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of professional experience is required; the posting also cites 14+ years of SAP BTP architecture, development, and delivery experience.
- Minimum 15 years of full-time education with a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics and Communication, or a related listed field.
- Strong SAP BTP Application Development experience using CAP, Node.js, SAP Build Apps, and low-code/no-code tools.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, OData services, ABAP extensions, ABAP CDS views, BOPF/RAP, and SAP HANA Cloud modeling.
- Expertise with Cloud Foundry, Kyma runtime, MTA YAML descriptors, SAP BTP account setup, service provisioning, destinations, subaccounts, and identity provisioning.
- Strong knowledge of XSUAA, OAuth2, scopes, role collections, connectivity, security configuration, app routers, multi-tenant routing, and application logging.
- Experience with SAP Workflow Management, Business Rules, Process Automation, Event-Driven Architecture, and microservices best practices.
- Experience with SAP BTP Generative AI services, AI/ML integration, Agentic AI, SAP Build Code, or Joule Studio is desired.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, analytical, communication, presentation, debugging, and performance-tuning skills are required; SAP certifications are preferred.
