Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack features across ReactJS and Python/FastAPI layers.
Build and maintain validated, versioned RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
Develop responsive and accessible front-end interfaces aligned with CBO UX and Section 508 requirements.
Implement PostgreSQL data models, queries, migrations, and stored procedures with attention to performance and integrity.
Package applications with Docker and support deployment of containerized workloads to AWS, including ECS and EKS.
Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and regression tests using pytest, Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent tools.
Investigate and resolve defects, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities, and reduce technical debt.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, retrospectives, and trunk-based development practices.
Maintain technical documentation including API documentation, data-model diagrams, and architecture decision records.

Minimum five years of professional full stack software development experience.
Proficiency with Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
Experience deploying and troubleshooting applications on AWS.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and trunk-based development.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
Must obtain a Public Trust Tier 2 clearance and pass FBI criminal history, fingerprint, and background checks.
AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification is preferred.

Full-time position with flexible hours based on mission requirements.
Hybrid work environment with on-site support at CBO facilities in Washington, DC, and occasional support at data centers in Ashburn and Manassas, Virginia.
Primarily local business-day travel is expected.
Employment requires a pre-employment drug screen, with employees also subject to random drug screens.
