Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack features across ReactJS and Python/FastAPI layers.
- Build and maintain validated, versioned RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
- Develop responsive and accessible front-end interfaces aligned with CBO UX and Section 508 requirements.
- Implement PostgreSQL data models, queries, migrations, and stored procedures with attention to performance and integrity.
- Package applications with Docker and support deployment of containerized workloads to AWS, including ECS and EKS.
- Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and regression tests using pytest, Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent tools.
- Investigate and resolve defects, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities, and reduce technical debt.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, retrospectives, and trunk-based development practices.
- Maintain technical documentation including API documentation, data-model diagrams, and architecture decision records.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of professional full stack software development experience.
- Proficiency with Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting applications on AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and trunk-based development.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
- Must obtain a Public Trust Tier 2 clearance and pass FBI criminal history, fingerprint, and background checks.
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification is preferred.
