Responsibilities
- Build and ship features for North, Cohere’s AI workspace platform
- Develop autonomous agents that interact with sensitive enterprise data
- Write minimal code for low-resource environments with stringent deployment mechanisms
- Create secure and privacy-preserving solutions that may require alternatives to popular libraries or tooling
- Collaborate with researchers to productionize state-of-the-art models and techniques
- Own features end-to-end from understanding user problems through shipping and measuring impact
Requirements
- Production experience shipping substantial full-stack code with Python and React
- Strong coding abilities and comfort working across the full stack
- Experience building and deploying highly performant client-side or server-side RAG or agentic applications at scale
- Ability to execute in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and objectives
- Product-owner mindset with end-to-end feature ownership from identifying user problems through measuring impact
- Strong opinions about user experience and willingness to challenge designs or specifications that do not serve users
- A portfolio, GitHub profile, or other project showcase is a plus
- An eye for design, creativity, and an interest in art are bonuses
