Base Salary
$130k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own claims, appointments, and payments-posting features from design through production rollout.
- Write production-ready code with meaningful tests and observability, including clean interfaces and data models.
- Partner with product, design, and billing operations to solve billers’ workflow problems.
- Build dashboards, logging, and alerting to detect and root-cause production issues quickly.
- Review code and designs for correctness, performance, and consistent user experience.
- Help establish component patterns, API and data-fetching conventions, and testing and observability practices.
- Help onboard and develop teammates while contributing to the team’s technical standards and direction.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building full-stack applications and shipping production features end-to-end.
- Strong frontend skills, including building maintainable UIs and diagnosing rendering issues in data-dense screens.
- Ability to build backend API endpoints with filtering and pagination over sizable datasets and reason about underlying queries.
- Sound technical judgment, including evaluating tradeoffs, escalating risks, and avoiding over-engineering.
- Comfort with monitoring, logging, alerting, debugging, and observability practices.
- Clear communication, ownership, urgency, and customer focus are required.
- Familiarity with healthcare billing data, including EDI X12 transactions, clearinghouses, ERAs/EOBs, and denial codes, is preferred.
- Experience shipping LLM-powered features into production workflows is preferred.
- Exposure to analytical or OLAP stores alongside a transactional database is preferred.
- Strong product intuition and experience influencing UX/UI decisions are preferred.
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or insurance, with attention to security and compliance, is preferred.
