Responsibilities
- Capture requirements and document, implement, deploy, and support Workday Extend applications.
- Develop and share expertise in Workday, the Workday Extend platform, and HCM and Financials business domains.
- Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and align solutions with their needs.
- Work within a consulting team, escalate issues appropriately, and seek support from senior consultants when needed.
- Plan workload, meet deadlines, and maintain high quality, accuracy, confidentiality, and information security.
- Travel to customer sites and collaborate with colleagues from other offices when required.
Requirements
- Proficiency with XML, REST, SOAP, and JSON.
- Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language, preferably J2EE.
- Good understanding of cloud computing, web services, and associated challenges.
- Some experience in a consulting or client-facing environment and a strong customer focus.
- Clear and effective English communication skills, including in remote working situations.
- Commercial awareness and some understanding of project and business dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, plan workload, meet deadlines, and follow applicable standards and procedures.
- Willingness to travel to work with customers on site.
- Workday Integrations or Workday Extend certification is desirable.
- Experience designing workflows to solve business and technical problems is desirable.
