Responsibilities
- Analyze cloud-native tools and frameworks and design Google Cloud Platform solutions for client requirements.
- Support cloud solution implementation, automation, service improvement, migration planning, and environment reviews.
- Participate in technical workshops, pilot projects, proof-of-concept initiatives, proposals, and customer presentations.
- Build and customize automated cloud-native solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Create solution templates, define new features, prepare technical documentation, and contribute to the solution portfolio.
- Collaborate with senior architects, engineers, and DevOps teams on workload reviews, technical support, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps practices, or cloud solutions; internships, part-time positions, and academic work count.
- Foundational knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and services including Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Firebase.
- Familiarity with modern software development using Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Understanding of cloud networking, automation, and security practices.
- Strong English communication skills; German or other additional language skills are a plus.
- Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification is a bonus.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud connectivity, including VPC, Cloud VPN, and Load Balancers, is desirable.
- Experience building distributed systems or microservices applications is advantageous.
