Base Salary
$170k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with GTM leads on deals by leading technical discovery, running POCs, and owning solution design through close.
- Build prototypes and reference integrations for TTS, STT, LLM Router, LLM inference, and Realtime API solutions in customer environments.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor during onboarding and help customers reach production-quality integrations.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering.
- Answer technical questions about latency, deployment, streaming architecture, and model selection.
- Maintain integration examples, demo environments, and technical collateral for the GTM team.
- Identify expansion opportunities based on customer needs and product usage.
- Help define Inworld’s solutions engineering function and technical sales process as an early hire.
- Work with GTM leadership to develop modern sales and GTM processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Account Manager.
- Strong hands-on coding ability with production-quality integration code; Python is strongly preferred and JavaScript or TypeScript is a plus.
- Deep familiarity with AI/ML APIs, LLMs, speech models, and streaming APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to run technical POCs end-to-end and drive them to a decision.
- Strong communication skills for bridging technical and business conversations.
- High empathy and integrity in customer interactions, with comfort working in ambiguous and changing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical domain.
- Bonus experience with voice AI, TTS, STT, real-time audio and speech systems, gaming, CCaaS, media and entertainment, on-premise or edge deployment, containerization, model serving, quantization, WebSocket, WebRTC, real-time streaming infrastructure, high-growth startups, founding or operating roles, Clay, n8n, or Zapier.
