Base Salary
$154k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable AWS ML architectures for customer data preparation, distributed training, model fine-tuning, inference optimization, and production deployment.
- Serve as the technical subject-matter expert for model customization and inference across Amazon SageMaker AI and SageMaker HyperPod.
- Advise customers and field Solutions Architects on training at scale, model compilation, quantization, endpoint autoscaling, multi-model endpoints, latency, throughput, and cost optimization.
- Partner with Specialist Solutions Architects, account teams, sales, and business development to drive SageMaker adoption, pipeline generation, opportunity progression, and revenue attainment.
- Author technical blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and reusable solution artifacts, and present at AWS events and industry conferences.
- Capture customer feedback, escalate product feature requests, and collaborate with SageMaker service teams to influence platform improvements.
- Develop an internal community of machine learning subject-matter experts across the Americas.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a relevant technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
- At least 5 years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
- Preferred: experience working with end-user or developer communities.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
