Base Salary
$147k - $273k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery workshops to understand customer requirements, workflows, integrations, security considerations, and business objectives.
- Design scalable cloud-based solutions aligned with customer needs and Reuters Imagen capabilities.
- Lead technical activities throughout the sales cycle, including product demonstrations and technical objection handling.
- Partner with Commercial and Account teams on proposals, RFP responses, statements of work, solution designs, and effort estimates.
- Advise customers on deployment, hosting, integration, and configuration approaches.
- Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support transition from sales through implementation and delivery.
- Provide ongoing technical advisory support for strategic accounts, including complex implementations, feature adoption, and optimization.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share customer insights, influence product direction, and develop presales tools and technical playbooks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in requirements elicitation, solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical sales support for enterprise or SaaS software.
- Track record of closing or materially contributing to complex technical deals in the US and North American market.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, hosting architectures, and storage solutions, with AWS and Azure essential.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, cross-system data reconciliation, and integration design, including API patterns, data attribute mapping, and business process dependencies.
- Ability to deliver product demonstrations and handle technical objections with audiences ranging from developers to executives.
- Experience creating technical proposals, statements of work, architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and RFP responses.
- Ability to operate post-sale in a technical advisory capacity alongside delivery teams.
- Fluent professional English and ability to work independently in a remote environment across time zones.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot for research, analysis, and workflow efficiency.
- Preferred experience in sports, media, broadcast, or content management technology.
- Preferred knowledge of video codecs, transcoding, metadata standards, live ingest protocols, and content delivery workflows.
- Preferred understanding of AI services for video processing, automated tagging, data enrichment, and intelligent content discovery.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce, Azure DevOps, and Monday.com.
- Preferred familiarity with SAML/SSO, access control models, and enterprise media security and compliance requirements.
