Responsibilities
- Lead GenAI and machine learning projects from concept through production within the APM organization.
- Design, build, train, evaluate, deploy, and benchmark GenAI/ML models at scale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build automated investigation and incident-triage tools.
- Influence product direction with a strong focus on user needs and product outcomes.
- Provide technical direction through ambiguity, scaling challenges, and changing requirements.
- Mentor engineers and influence engineering culture through design reviews, technical talks, and working groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in a scientific field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant engineering experience and experience serving as a technical lead.
- Proven track record leading large-scale GenAI/ML initiatives in a product-driven environment.
- Significant experience with model deployment, development, training, fine-tuning, or evaluation.
- Ability to drive initiatives across cross-functional teams and solve ambiguous challenges.
