Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create test plans.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and ensure software quality.
- Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and best practices.
- Perform test planning, test design, test execution, bug triage, status reporting, and requirements traceability.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues in test environments and escalate as necessary.
- Validate APIs for functionality, reliability, performance, and security.
- Support UAT and production implementation activities.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an SDET or in a similar software development and testing role.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, and Appium.
- Strong programming skills in C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or similar languages.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, and spec-driven agentic development.
- Experience with XML and CSV formats for test data generation.
- Experience with UAT and production implementation and support.
- Technical aptitude in system interoperability procedures.
- Experience using SQL commands to create, store, retrieve, and modify database data.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Preferred: ISTQB Certified Tester or similar advanced certification.
- Preferred: experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Preferred: familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
