Base Salary
$106k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, integrate, modify, test, debug, and improve embedded software for specialized satellite and payload hardware.
- Review and translate customer software requirements and integrate software with hardware components.
- Develop software safety, assurance, quality, design, and test documentation.
- Conduct Cyber Vulnerability Analysis and design and implement cyber monitoring algorithms.
- Create custom tools and processes for configuration automation and development workflow improvement.
- At senior levels, lead software integration, testing, stakeholder coordination, supplier performance evaluation, and software project management.
- Work with software, hardware, systems engineering, product security engineering, testbed engineering, and other multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems.
- At least 2 years of software development experience using C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before start and a final Secret clearance after start; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government.
- Level 3 candidates should have 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Level 4 candidates should have 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred experience includes the full software development lifecycle, embedded real-time software, GitLab, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, Wireshark, debuggers, and DevOps toolchains for automated builds and tests.
- Candidates must complete a CodeVue technical assessment as part of the selection process.
