Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop reliable flight software controlling spacecraft, satellite bus, and reentry capsule operations throughout missions.
- Write structured bare-metal, RTOS, or Linux-based software in C++ for embedded processors.
- Own software design, development, testing, integration, verification, and validation.
- Scope projects, capture requirements, and perform initial design trade studies for open-ended problems.
- Support software quality and performance through testing, verification, validation, communication, and collaborative problem solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or equivalent technical experience in safety-critical software.
- At least 5 years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
- Experience developing in C++ with a strong understanding of its language concepts.
- Preferred: end-to-end spacecraft development and launch experience; real-time embedded systems; aerospace safety-critical software; CCSDS telemetry and telecommand; F' or cFS; Python or Rust; basic analog and digital electronics; and SPI, I2C, CAN, or EtherCAT.
