Base Salary

$212k - $286k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Execute full life-cycle software development, including requirements definition, analysis, architecture, design, coding, unit testing, integration, documentation, and formal qualification.
  • Design, implement, test, maintain, and integrate real-time Attitude Control Subsystem models into system-level satellite simulators.
  • Develop software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments.
  • Interface with technically diverse users and multidisciplinary systems and software teams.
  • Complete trade studies and detailed designs independently and collaboratively.
  • Lead and deliver solutions to complex technical challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 10+ years of experience leading modeling and simulation, systems engineering, software development, or sustainment activities.
  • 5+ years of experience with modern programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, or Visual Basic.
  • 5+ years of experience developing software models of physical systems and scientific phenomena.
  • Experience using Git in a Linux environment.
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
  • Preferred qualifications include an applicable Bachelor of Science degree with 14+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 18+ years of directly related experience, or 22+ years of related experience.
  • Preferred experience includes rigid-body dynamics, kinematics, numerical integration methods such as Runge-Kutta, satellite AOCS/GNC or flight software, MATLAB/Simulink model conversion to optimized C++/Rust, and large-scale simulation using AWS or Azure.
  • Candidates must complete the required CodeVue technical assessment and satisfy Boeing’s Conflict of Interest assessment process.
  • Candidates must meet U.S. export-control requirements as a U.S. Person.
