Base Salary
$167k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the reliability expert for your aligned product team.
- Lead Production Readiness Reviews to ensure critical reliability standards are met.
- Define SLOs and SLIs for services in collaboration with engineering leads.
- Build reusable artifacts to enhance reliability across the team.
- Automate operational needs and convert manual tasks into self-service tools.
- Design and build shared platform infrastructure for cross-team benefits.
- Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response efforts.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Cloud Engineering.
- Robust knowledge of cloud technologies including Terraform, Docker, and Linux.
- Hands-on experience with Datadog for monitoring and alerting.
- Experience in software development and automation using Python or Bash.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline automation, specifically GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of observability concepts and their application in production.
