Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges across software and infrastructure layers while improving performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Contribute to system architecture design and evolution for current and future business needs.
- Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and implement automated testing frameworks.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within autonomous teams.
- Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams and Product management to deliver effective solutions.
- Apply cloud, CI/CD, testing, validation, resiliency, autoscaling, monitoring, and alerting practices.
- Participate in architectural discussions, open reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical knowledge, collaboration, and team performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required; an MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is a plus.
- Approximately 7–9 years of experience building complex, distributed, large-scale backend systems.
- Mandatory proficiency in Golang.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud computing, software architecture principles, SOLID, Hexagonal Architecture, and Design-Driven Development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP for scalable and resilient solutions.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience designing scalable end-to-end CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for performance monitoring and logging.
- Knowledge of relational databases, normalization, ACID, indexing, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
- Practical experience with automated unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for international, cross-functional collaboration.
