Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure automation using infrastructure as code and DevOps practices.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Travis CI, and ArgoCD.
- Manage infrastructure as code and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, Crossplane, Chef, Puppet, and SaltStack.
- Deploy and monitor applications across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, observability automation, and predictive automation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response with a focus on uptime, performance, and reliability.
- Improve system security, scalability, compliance, and development workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and DevOps strategy discussions.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, IT teams, and operations teams.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience is required.
- At least 7.5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure is specified in the additional requirements.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and production operations.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and related compute, networking, storage, and database services.
- Experience with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Helm, or OpenShift.
- Knowledge of Linux, Bash scripting, Windows Server, networking, security, and compliance practices.
- Experience with monitoring and incident-management tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, PagerDuty, and Opsgenie.
- Understanding of SRE principles, service-level indicators and objectives, serverless architectures, GitOps, and observability automation.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.
