Forward Deployed Engineer — Agentforce Orchestration
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Build, configure, and optimize Agentforce Operations workflows with agent reasoning, tool-calling logic, and conditional execution loops.
- Implement agent-to-agent communication standards and the Model Context Protocol for context sharing, task handoffs, and tool execution.
- Architect and maintain real-time enterprise data-grounding systems using RAG, vector databases, search indexes, and knowledge bases.
- Develop APIs and integration pipelines connecting Agentforce with Salesforce Data Cloud, cloud warehouses, and enterprise ERP systems through MuleSoft or custom middleware.
- Use AI-assisted development tools including Cursor, Claude, and Vibes in the software development workflow.
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines and real-time dashboards for agent execution health, fallback triggers, and business outcomes.
- Deploy automated supply chain and back-office workflows into production and provide customer deployment feedback to Salesforce product and engineering teams.
- Whiteboard architecture with enterprise CTOs and VPs while writing production code alongside lead architects.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience.
- At least one production AI, data engineering, or enterprise integration system deployed to production.
- High proficiency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Deep hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, prompt tuning, RAG pipelines, vector search indexes, and enterprise knowledge-base retrievers.
- Practical experience with API design, including REST, SOAP, or webhooks, and modern agent protocols such as MCP, tool calling, or event-driven messaging.
- Experience with process orchestration and API-led connectivity using MuleSoft or custom middleware to connect AI agents with legacy ERP systems.
- Understanding of data modeling, schema design, asynchronous messaging, enterprise security, identity and access management, OAuth, data privacy, audit logging, permissioning, and secure tool execution.
- Familiarity with automation platforms such as Pega, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, ServiceNow, Appian, or Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience with enterprise AI platforms, integrated enterprise applications, deployment infrastructure, data governance systems, and operational execution platforms.
- Willingness to travel 25–30% for on-site enterprise deployments.
- Preferred: domain expertise in supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics execution.
- Preferred: Salesforce ecosystem experience, including Agentforce Specialist, Data Cloud, Apex, Flow, or headless architectures.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Preferred: ability to create reusable accelerators, reference architectures, connectors, and implementation playbooks.
