Base Salary
$81k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design automated software for production RF testing, including multi-unit testing, fault detection, and test reporting.
- Develop automated test solutions using LabVIEW and TestStand.
- Develop, execute, and document software test plans, setup procedures, and reports.
- Support design verification, validation, characterization, and integration testing.
- Analyze test data and provide technical conclusions and recommendations to design teams.
- Collaborate with RF design, systems, manufacturing, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
- Create and maintain test documentation, software requirements, and configuration-controlled records.
- Transition test methods from development into manufacturing and production environments.
- Troubleshoot and root-cause hardware and measurement issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in software programming, automated testing, software integration, or related engineering roles.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Preferred experience with Python, C++, LabVIEW, TestStand, Linux, VHDL, development boards, RF systems, wireless communications, digital modulation, test automation, and data analysis.
- Preferred knowledge of digital communications, encryption systems, digital logic, differential communication protocols, RF principles, schematics, block diagrams, interface control documents, and test requirements.
- Preferred active security clearance and experience supporting design-to-production transitions and deriving system requirements from product specifications and validation documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Salary range of $80.5k-$149.5k in California, with final compensation varying by experience and geographic location.
