Base Salary

$92k - $138k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Support sustainment and modernization programs for Strategic Operating Units.
  • Perform software design, development, testing, integration, verification, and qualification for safety-critical embedded real-time systems.
  • Support flight, mission, laboratory, and tools software throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop software and scripts using languages including C, C++, Python, PowerShell, VBScript, Bash, and/or KornShell.
  • Contribute software engineering, software testing, integration, and DevOps expertise across multiple programs.
  • Use static and dynamic code analysis, fuzzing, software change control, change management, and CI/CD tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of software engineering experience, or a master’s or PhD in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with safety-critical embedded real-time software and the full software development lifecycle.
  • Experience or familiarity with VxWorks, Integrity, and Real Time Embedded Linux.
  • Active U.S. government Secret-level or higher clearance that is in scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain special program access.
  • Preferred experience includes Agile software development, object-oriented C++ architectures, debugging, and hardware-software integration and testing.
  • Preferred experience includes Atlassian tools, Jira, GitHub, GitLab, SonarQube, Coverity, Jenkins, Rhapsody, Cameo, DOORS, MATLAB, JavaScript, and network technologies such as TCP/IP, UDP, LAN, VLAN, and SNMP.
  • Preferred qualifications include leadership, teamwork, strong written and oral communication, and interpersonal communication skills.
