Base Salary
$150k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, ship, and maintain backend services using Node.js, Socket.IO, AWS Amplify, and DynamoDB.
- Work across the frontend with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Design and integrate APIs using both REST and GraphQL.
- Develop deep expertise in specific areas while being comfortable with the entire codebase.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
- Translate high-level product requirements into incrementally releasable tasks.
- Balance short-term deliverables with long-term investments in efficiency and performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience on a full-stack engineering team.
- Professional experience with TypeScript, including API development and backend service design.
- Experience building user interfaces with reusable, composable components.
- Proven ability to optimize database performance through schema design and query tuning.
- Strong communication skills and ability to navigate technical tradeoffs.
