Base Salary
$220k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and ship full-stack features from technical scoping and design through production.
- Build and integrate Foundry ontologies and pipelines, AIP agents, and Maven Smart System workflows.
- Develop AI-powered intake flows, constituent assistants, case routing, and agency dashboards.
- Set technical direction, improve code quality, and establish reusable engineering patterns.
- Engage directly with federal agency stakeholders to translate requirements into shippable products.
- Own platform reliability and performance at government scale.
- Mentor earlier-career engineers through reviews, pairing, and technical feedback.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience owning complex features and systems.
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, AIP, or Maven Smart System, including ontologies, pipelines, or AIP agents.
- Deep experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Postgres.
- Experience building and standing behind a real product, open-source project, or designed system.
- Ability to define problems and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.
- Preferred experience includes classified or accredited environments, Forward Deployed Engineering, Palantir-led programs, government or regulated technology, cloud deployment, AWS, Vercel, GitHub Actions, ECS/Fargate, design systems, component libraries, and early-stage technical leadership.
