Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade AI agents for federal and state government institutions.
- Work directly with public servants and institutions to understand urgent needs, workflows, and opportunities for impact.
- Contribute to the public sector team’s capture motion, market strategy, and scalable product components.
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s AI agent platform.
Requirements
- Full-stack software development skills and familiarity with AI development processes.
- Passion for public sector work and belief in the potential of government institutions to improve constituent outcomes.
- Comfort working directly with customers and coordinating with public servants to solve real-world problems.
- Experience building conversational or long-horizon agents using proprietary or open-source frameworks is preferred.
- A track record of working effectively amid ambiguity, such as on a founding team, a new enterprise initiative, or in forward-deployed engineering, is preferred.
- Prior understanding of government procurement, regulation, and partnership models is preferred.
