Base Salary

$160k - $225k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop software and verification infrastructure for a production-scale metal 3D printing system
  • Connect software to motion and control systems in collaboration with automation and controls engineers
  • Develop and maintain additive manufacturing software across software, hardware, production, and engine design domains
  • Develop production-ready control software and algorithms for printer laser and control systems
  • Contribute to process monitoring solutions for data collection and automated analysis
  • Maintain software engineering standards through design, code, and test reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or another STEM discipline and 5+ years of software development experience, or 8+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of experience writing production code in C++
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools
  • Experience working in a Linux environment
  • Experience with Qt, VTK, Boost, CUDA, and CMake is preferred
  • Professional experience with mechatronics, microcontrollers, or FPGA computing hardware is preferred
  • Real-time embedded software development experience is preferred
  • Computer geometry experience is preferred
  • Experience with laser powder bed fusion or similar additive manufacturing processes is preferred
  • Applicants must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations
