Base Salary
$160k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop software and verification infrastructure for a production-scale metal 3D printing system
- Connect software to motion and control systems in collaboration with automation and controls engineers
- Develop and maintain additive manufacturing software across software, hardware, production, and engine design domains
- Develop production-ready control software and algorithms for printer laser and control systems
- Contribute to process monitoring solutions for data collection and automated analysis
- Maintain software engineering standards through design, code, and test reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or another STEM discipline and 5+ years of software development experience, or 8+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of experience writing production code in C++
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Experience with Qt, VTK, Boost, CUDA, and CMake is preferred
- Professional experience with mechatronics, microcontrollers, or FPGA computing hardware is preferred
- Real-time embedded software development experience is preferred
- Computer geometry experience is preferred
- Experience with laser powder bed fusion or similar additive manufacturing processes is preferred
- Applicants must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations
