Base Salary
$160k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement guidance and navigation software within COTS software frameworks.
- Lead the design of guidance software for a clean-sheet airframe.
- Support airframe design activities.
- Support software system integration on flight hardware.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of professional object-oriented software development experience.
- Experience designing and implementing guidance algorithms for UAS platforms using commercial autopilot frameworks such as ArduPilot.
- Practical understanding of fixed-wing and rotary-wing flight dynamics.
- Extensive experience developing software for STM32 or similar microcontroller architectures and Linux hosted on Nvidia Jetson, AMD/Xilinx SoC, or Microblaze architectures.
- Experience developing real-time embedded software with hardware interfaces and integrating vendor-provided low-level drivers and firmware.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams.
- U.S. Person status is required to access U.S.-only data systems.
- Current or previous DoD security clearance is preferred.
- Part 107 remote pilot certification is preferred.
- Experience with EO/IR and radar sensor integration is preferred.
- Experience with VHDL, AMD/Xilinx FPGAs, Git, production-level software deployment, high-TRL systems, and hardware/software integration and test and verification and validation is preferred.
