Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and improve scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure software solutions.
- Build and maintain full-stack applications using backend and modern frontend technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, unit testing, and secure coding practices.
- Contribute to infrastructure, containerized application deployment, deployment pipelines, observability, and operational excellence.
- Lead or guide development teams and assignments through mentoring, technical decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, and contribute to policies and procedures supporting governance.
- Analyze complex information and communicate technical recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and Test-Driven Development.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL, and NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience with containerized application development and deployment using OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, Wiz, Prisma, Maven or Gradle, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as IBM MQ or Kafka.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams within banking or financial services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, mentoring, and making technical decisions is highly valued.
- Knowledge of payment systems, corporate banking, lending, transaction banking, observability, monitoring, application security, legacy modernization, Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, and API-led integrations is highly valued.
