Base Salary

$170k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain the payment integrations platform, including partner APIs, SDKs, and embedded web experiences.
  • Shape and drive the technical roadmap for the Partner Engineering team.
  • Develop scalable APIs and integrations supporting money movement across banking partners through payment rails such as ACH.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, Infrastructure, Sales, Partner, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-impact features.
  • Scale the integrations platform while maintaining performance and reliability.
  • Improve daily operations through automation, tooling, design evolution, and observability.
  • Mentor engineers and elevate team standards through best practices, code reviews, and technical guidance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of Java experience with proficiency in Spring, Gradle, JUnit, and JVM tuning.
  • Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture, REST APIs, message queues, and scalable distributed systems.
  • Experience with AWS services including EKS, Aurora RDS, ElastiCache, and DynamoDB, plus containerization.
  • Experience leading multiple high-impact products end to end with strong quality and delivery standards.
  • Experience aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders on scope and delivery.
  • FinTech experience and familiarity with major payment rails.
  • Ability to drive quality and consistency across a team without compromising velocity.
  • Preferred experience with CI/CD systems, GitHub Actions, automation, observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Snowflake, CDK, and Terraform.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
