Base Salary
$170k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the payment integrations platform, including partner APIs, SDKs, and embedded web experiences.
- Shape and drive the technical roadmap for the Partner Engineering team.
- Develop scalable APIs and integrations supporting money movement across banking partners through payment rails such as ACH.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, Infrastructure, Sales, Partner, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-impact features.
- Scale the integrations platform while maintaining performance and reliability.
- Improve daily operations through automation, tooling, design evolution, and observability.
- Mentor engineers and elevate team standards through best practices, code reviews, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience.
- Minimum 4 years of Java experience with proficiency in Spring, Gradle, JUnit, and JVM tuning.
- Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture, REST APIs, message queues, and scalable distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS services including EKS, Aurora RDS, ElastiCache, and DynamoDB, plus containerization.
- Experience leading multiple high-impact products end to end with strong quality and delivery standards.
- Experience aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders on scope and delivery.
- FinTech experience and familiarity with major payment rails.
- Ability to drive quality and consistency across a team without compromising velocity.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD systems, GitHub Actions, automation, observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Snowflake, CDK, and Terraform.
- Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
