Responsibilities

  • Provide intraday desk-facing coverage for Credit Repo, Credit Exotics, and related Genesis trading tools.
  • Develop and maintain medium- to large-scale server-side applications and deliver hands-on code changes.
  • Build solutions across trade booking, risk/PnL, margin, settlement, reporting, and workflow automation.
  • Own production issues through permanent resolution and improve application stability, supportability, and performance.
  • Partner with traders, structurers, strats, operations, controllers, market risk, business users, and global technology teams.
  • Lead development of new ideas and policies, analyze information for stakeholders, and communicate technical topics clearly.
  • Mentor junior developers and coordinate delivery across a global team.
  • Improve intraday coverage, Genesis development, Structured Credit domain knowledge, and transparent knowledge-sharing practices.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative or computational discipline.
  • Strong hands-on software development experience in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Scala, C++, C#, or Python.
  • Experience executing IT strategy, delivering complex initiatives, and presenting clearly to technology and business leadership.
  • Experience with front-office technology, trading tools, risk systems, pricing platforms, or financial workflow automation.
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income, Repo, TRS, Structured Notes, CDS, CDS Index, CDS Index Options, CDS Index Tranches, Repacks, or PB.
  • Experience with Genesis or similar front-office trading platforms.
  • Experience with risk/PnL, margin, collateral, settlement, curve/marking, trade booking, workflow, or reporting systems.
  • Experience improving business-critical application stability through refactoring, automated testing, monitoring, performance tuning, and production hygiene.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, data flows, production support patterns, distributed computing, grid or cloud platforms, service integration, APIs, and data-driven workflows.
  • Experience with modern DevOps and continuous delivery practices.
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal communication, ownership, and collaboration skills, including the ability to diagnose complex issues under time pressure.
  • Experience mentoring junior developers or coordinating delivery across a global team.
