Responsibilities
- Architect and develop enhancements to the enterprise-scale Security Master Platform.
- Design and maintain ETL pipelines for Bloomberg Data License and other vendor feeds.
- Build high-performance C#/.NET services and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, schemas, and database performance.
- Deploy and support containerized applications on AWS using EC2, IAM, S3, and Redis.
- Implement data validation, monitoring alerts, usage tracking, and production support processes.
- Develop React-based web applications and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and production issues affecting trading, risk, compliance, and other downstream systems.
- Coordinate technically with the Market Data Engineering team, downstream consumers, and external vendors.
- Comply with FCA, PRA, company policies, operational risk controls, and applicable conduct requirements.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience developing enterprise applications with C# and .NET Core/.NET 8+.
- Experience building RESTful services with Minimal APIs, asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and API performance optimization.
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, indexes, stored procedures, functions, views, execution plans, transactions, and database tuning.
- Experience designing scalable relational schemas for high-volume financial data platforms.
- Experience with financial reference data and understanding of multiple asset classes.
- Hands-on experience with Bloomberg Data License fields, file formats, FTP/API delivery mechanisms, and market-data ingestion.
- Experience building ETL pipelines for ingesting, validating, transforming, and distributing financial market data.
- Experience deploying and supporting applications on AWS, including EC2, IAM, S3, and Redis.
- Experience building containerized applications with Docker.
- Experience developing modern web applications with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience using Git and implementing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Preferred: familiarity with LSEG/Refinitiv, S&P, or ICE market-data providers.
- Preferred: scripting experience for file transfers, parsing, alerts, and operational workflows.
- Preferred: experience with secure authentication and authorization, responsive UI design, state management, infrastructure automation, and release management.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, debugging, relationship-building, and operational problem-solving skills.
