Responsibilities
- Own customer projects from initial requirements through production.
- Build and deploy voice AI and LLM-powered applications.
- Develop integrations and production systems using Python and JavaScript.
- Work directly with customers to understand requirements and design technical solutions.
- Run technical demos and help customers use Retell effectively.
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to solve customer problems.
- Identify product gaps and collaborate with Engineering to improve the platform.
- Help build Retell’s presence across APAC and travel across the region as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical PM, CSE, or Support Engineer.
- Strong software engineering skills, especially in Python or JavaScript.
- Experience working with AI/LLM systems or complex technical products.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Comfort working with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English.
- Based in Singapore or Hong Kong and open to traveling across APAC.
- Able to design production-ready systems and build full-stack solutions in environments such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
