Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve ambiguous technical problems from triage through completion.
- Own deployment requests from frontier AI labs, data vendors, and internal teams end-to-end.
- Build tools and one-off pipelines to address urgent customer and partner problems.
- Coordinate with research and go-to-market teams to unblock deployments.
- Document recurring issues and convert repeated manual work into reusable tools or processes.
- Balance rapid customer turnaround with implementation quality.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in applied research engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or a closely related hands-on technical role.
- Proficiency in Python, Docker, and Linux environments.
- Experience with benchmarks and evaluations, including judgment about task realism, rubric reliability, and trajectory quality for reinforcement learning training.
- Strong debugging ability across code, data, and environments.
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations and handle urgent production, customer, or deployment issues.
- Comfort working directly with technical customers, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams.
- Strong communication skills across time zones.
- Early-stage startup experience and the ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Careful, original technical work with sound judgment about when correctness or security requires additional care.
