Base Salary
$150k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Visit customer environments to configure, optimize, support, and customize ConductorAI software and troubleshoot systems.
- Write and maintain production-quality code in Python and TypeScript.
- Gather user feedback, understand customer workflows, and translate insights into product requirements.
- Debug and improve system reliability, performance, and usability based on customer usage.
- Build and deliver technical demonstrations for prospective and existing customers.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop features connected directly to customer needs.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency at customer sites.
- Contribute to company strategy, culture, and evolving responsibilities as a core early team member.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher is required at the time of hire; an active TS or TS/SCI clearance is desired.
- US citizenship is required due to federal law and government contract obligations; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering or forward deployed engineering experience is required.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript is required.
- Experience working directly with end users or customers in a technical capacity is required.
- Experience with LLMs and modern AI application techniques is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences are required.
- Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments is required.
- Experience in defense, intelligence, or national security environments is desired.
- Experience with early-stage startups, system design, full-stack development, or DoD and civil agency stakeholders is desired.
- Ability to travel up to 40% domestically and OCONUS is required.
