Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated pipelines for container and machine images.
- Own certificate lifecycle infrastructure for internal TLS/mTLS endpoints.
- Drive security posture improvements and manage CVE triage and remediation.
- Architect and operate event-driven, serverless AWS infrastructure.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define standards and document systems.
- Identify and eliminate toil through automation.
- Mentor engineers on secure patterns and container image guidelines.
- Define architectural direction for next-generation platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with depth in Python and familiarity with Go, TypeScript/Node.js, or Bash.
- Strong command of containerization and experience with Docker images.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services at production scale.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools like AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of TLS/PKI fundamentals and certificate lifecycle management.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Strong observability instincts for platform health metrics.
