Responsibilities
- Shape the long-term architecture and technical direction for Data Delivery and related systems.
- Lead initiatives that span multiple teams and product areas.
- Build systems that facilitate new reporting, measurement, and analytics capabilities.
- Make high-impact technical decisions across various system components.
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate company priorities into technical roadmaps.
- Identify and drive improvements in reliability, scalability, and data quality.
- Clarify trade-offs around technical decisions and document them.
- Mentor and coach engineers through architecture reviews and design discussions.
Requirements
- Experience shaping technical direction across teams or large platform areas.
- Deep experience in building scalable services and data-intensive applications.
- Strong judgment in system design across APIs, data pipelines, and distributed systems.
- Ability to align stakeholders around technical strategy.
- Experience designing systems that create leverage for multiple teams.
- Strong reasoning about data quality and customer trust.
- Ability to connect technical investments to business value.
- Strong technical communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Experience developing senior engineers and raising engineering standards.
- Strong programming skills, with experience in Golang and related technologies.
