Base Salary
$172k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain the integration and data platform using AI-native approaches.
- Lead technical decisions across the stack, focusing on performance and maintainability.
- Design and optimize APIs and service patterns for product experiences and third-party integrations.
- Improve database design and query performance for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Drive observability and operational excellence through logging and performance analysis.
- Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives to enhance customer experience and system performance.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve engineering efficiency.
- Define strong testing practices in collaboration with QA and engineering teams.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Influence multiple engineering groups through technical leadership and collaboration.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with workflows and data platforms, emphasizing data integrity and system reliability.
- Deep knowledge of Node.js, GraphQL, RESTful services, PostgreSQL, and Temporal.
- Strong proficiency in SQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
- Experience with event-driven systems and real-time data processing.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure like AWS or GCP.
- Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and scalable deployment practices.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and raising technical standards.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
