Base Salary
$168k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the technical strategy and roadmap for the compiler toolchain and developer interfaces.
- Serve as the primary architect and technical lead for complex engineering projects.
- Drive the design and implementation of scalable interfaces for hardware-specific compilation features.
- Establish best practices and mentor engineers on software architecture and testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with research teams to evaluate and productize novel quantum algorithms.
- Oversee documentation and packaging strategy for compiler-related developer tools.
- Act as a key technical resource for the Applications Engineering team.
- Champion continuous improvement in software engineering processes across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience in a technical leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Python and experience with large-scale software systems.
- Expert-level understanding of quantum computing principles and compiler fundamentals.
- Proven track record of driving complex engineering projects from concept to production.
- Experience in system-level architecture and design.
- A history of mentorship and elevating technical capabilities of engineering teams.
- Familiarity with Agentic AI coding tools and techniques.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
