Responsibilities
- Design and deliver highly performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production environments
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents in production while defining Agent Development Life Cycle best practices
- Partner directly with large enterprises and startups to understand business challenges and build scalable AI agent solutions
- Create industry-specific AI agent frameworks and capabilities for customer interactions, self-service, and product recommendations
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them at scale for enterprise customers
- Surface customer needs, prototype tools and features, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core platform
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments
- A builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency and the ability to ship creative solutions
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Preferred: experience building or deploying AI or LLM systems in production
- Preferred: experience as a founder or founding engineer
- Preferred: familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
- Preferred: experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go
- Preferred: experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders
