Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices, APIs, and full stack applications.
- Build responsive, accessible, maintainable Angular user interfaces and reusable frontend components.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs, including authentication, authorization, error handling, and frontend-backend contracts.
- Contribute across the product lifecycle, including architecture, design discussions, code reviews, testing, and technical decision-making.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications using cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Collaborate with business analysts, users, UI/UX designers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Mentor junior developers, coach colleagues, and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of development experience in a senior engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and common design patterns.
- Strong practical experience with Angular, including component architecture, reactive forms, routing, RxJS, state management, accessibility, and REST API integration.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservice-based architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform, and cloud-native application deployment and management.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases, including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and BigQuery.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and automated build and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
- Mandatory experience with JAX-RS and Java API for RESTful Web Services.
- React or other modern frontend framework experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Kafka, Pub/Sub, event-driven design, Terraform, performance tuning, distributed tracing, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, autonomy, initiative, knowledge-sharing, and coaching abilities.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and comfort working in an Agile environment.
